. The La Liga club recently signed Antony on loan and are now looking at Malacia to strengthen their defense.
The Dutch full-back has struggled for game time this season after missing nearly 18 months due to a knee injury. With United close to signing left-back Patrick Dorgu from Lecce, Malacia’s chances of regular football look even slimmer.
Reports (via Daily Mail) suggest multiple clubs are interested, but Betis are leading the race for a potential loan deal before the transfer window closes.
Malacia, 25, has made only seven appearances this season. His most recent was a short substitute appearance against Fulham. With Luke Shaw expected to return soon, Malacia could be allowed to leave for more minutes elsewhere.

United are working to reshape their squad. Manager Ruben Amorim is keen to sign a specialist left-back, with Dorgu seen as the long-term solution.
Neither Diogo Dalot nor Noussair Mazraoui has fully convinced in that role, making Dorgu’s arrival a priority.
A loan move for Malacia would not necessarily mean the end of his United career. His contract runs until 2026, with an option to extend until 2027. A successful spell elsewhere could help him regain form before returning to Old Trafford.
Meanwhile, other key players could also leave before the transfer deadline. Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, and Casemiro have all been linked with moves away.
While Rashford and Garnacho are unlikely to go, Casemiro’s future remains uncertain, with Roma showing interest.
With just days left in the transfer window, Manchester United fans will be watching closely. Will Malacia move to Spain, or will another club step in?
