. Each December, 96 of the best darts players in the world convene at Alexandra Palace in London to compete for the title of world champion.
The World Darts Championship has been held every year since 1994 and has seen 13 different champions over the years. Phil “The Power” Taylor leads the way with 14 championships, last winning in 2013. Most recently, Luke Littler took home the Sid Waddell trophy in 2025, becoming the youngest person to ever win the tournament at just 17 years old.
Littler will look to defend his title in late 2025 and early 2026, but there will be plenty of competition from the other top players from around the world. Michael van Gerwen, Luke Humphries, Stephen Bunting, and 92 others will look to prevent Littler from going back-to-back.
